Q: Can you order dresses?

A: Yes. Always A bride can order any dress that is carried by any designer we carry. We can also order
any size and (depending on the dress limitations) an array of colors as well. There are certain time
limitations, depending on a number of factors with the designers. Do make sure you are planning ahead
so the dress you are wanting, you can actually get.
Please, feel free to stop in, call, or contact us via web to get more information about special orders.

Q: How long does a dress take to arrive in the store when you order it?

A: We order your dress at the earliest time possible after receiving your down payment. Depending on the
type of dress (bridal, prom, bridesmaid), the designer of the dress, and whether or not the dress is in
stock with the company, your dress can take anywhere from three days (with super rush fee and the
dress being IN STOCK with the company) to six months (mostly bridal gowns).
***We seriously advise that whatever your event, you make adequate arrangements to give yourself a
stress free time line for ordering your dress. That way, you'll still have time for any needed alterations (a
hem or tightened slightly at the bust for example).

Q: When should I actually place the order for my gown?

A: BRIDES: You should do your best to place the order for your gown no later than FOUR MONTHS prior
to the wedding date. That gives you the minimal adequate time for not only having your dress made by
which ever designer you choose, but also any alterations that might be needed. This includes the hem,
any minor tightening or loosening at specific areas (such as the breast or hip), and the bustle if you
choose to have one.
EVENING WEAR (Prom, Bridesmaids, Etc.):
We DO NOT recommend you placing the order for your gowns any later than SIX WEEKS prior to the
event. In some cases, even this is not adequate time, simply depending on the availability of your gown,
and how extravagant the gown is from the designer. During prom season, because our designers are
NATIONALLY known, often times once a dress is out of stock through the designer, we the retailer cannot
receive the gown order for months. We HIGHLY recommend coming in as soon as possible so that you
have no problems getting the dress of your dreams!!

Q: Can I buy a gown off the rack, or do all dresses have to be ordered?

A: Absolutely!!! We can and will sell any dress that is in store, and continuously have sales specifically
FOR the dresses that are in store. We can order any dress you find on a designer’s website, as well as
in any of the designer’s catalogues that are available to view in store. But if you find a dress that you love
IN the store - you are more than welcome to purchase it and take it home that day!

ALTERATIONS

Q: Are alterations available through the store?

A: Always A Bride can not only provide you a list of seamstresses outside the store, but we also have
INDEPENDENT seamstresses that are available through the store. The seamstresses are THEIR OWN
BUSINESSES, and are not affiliated with Always A Bride, but as a convenience to you, the customer, the
seamstresses come to the store to work on your garment.

Q: When should I make the appointment for my first fitting if alterations are needed?

A: The schedule varies from type of dress (bridal or evening gown) to what is needed to be done to the
dress(a minor hem to completely resizing the dress - if bought right off the rack). We recommend, if at all
possible, a minimum of FOUR WEEKS prior to your event should be the first fitting. In some cases, that
time line is not possible, and we recommend you make the appointment as soon as possible with the
seamstress. This does, too, depend on the availability of the seamstresses as well.
***Again, we HIGHLY recommend that you give yourself adequate time for all aspects of purchasing your
dress whenever possible.

Q: Who makes the appointments for the alterations?

A: Normally, the customer would make all their appointments with the seamstresses themselves. As the
seamstresses are Independent Business Owners, and are not directly affiliated with Always A Bride,
once the garment is purchased in full, it is up to the customer to make arrangements for all the fittings
with the seamstress. However, during prom season (between January and April), because there are so
many garments needing alterations, Always A Bride can make the appointment for you. There are
designated days and hours each seamstress is available, and we can help you find the best time slot for
you. Brides and bridesmaids are more than welcome to choose a specific time slot as well, or make
your own appointment with the seamstress herself.

Q: If I have to reschedule or am late for an alterations appointment, who do I contact?

A: When you schedule your initial appointment for alterations, we will give you the seamstress’s
business card. If you need to reschedule, you MUST CALL THE SEAMSTRESS. We ask you call a fair
amount of time prior to your appointment so that your original time slot can be filled. If you are more than
FIFTEEN (15) minutes late for your appointment, your time is filled by the next person in line and it is UP
TO YOU to call the seamstress to reschedule.

MISCELLANEOUS

Q: Do you have a lay-a-way policy?

A: YES! We DO have a lay-a-way. The conditions vary slightly depending on the garment, but to inquire
more about lay-a-ways at Always-A-Bride, please feel free to stop in, call or contact us via web!

Q: Do you sell multiples of a dress?

A: Always-A-Bride has a very strict one dress per event policy. If you buy a gown for ANY event (auctions,
military balls, proms, etc.) from Always-A-Bride, we do not sell that particular design to anyone else also
attending that event.....not even in a different color! So you truly have a one-of-a-kind gown at your event!
**Always-A-Bride cannot guarantee one-of-a-kind dresses from anywhere but OUR store. If the same
designer is carried at a competitor, the dress will only be marked off as sold if the dress is bought
through Always-A-Bride only.

Q: What colors do the dresses come in?

A: The dress colors vary on many different levels. Depending on the designer and the shape (design) of
the dress, is the ultimate deciding factor on what colors we can receive the dress in.

Q: What size dresses do you carry?

A: Always-A-Bride has a variety of sizes IN store, from a 2-28W. But if by chance we do not have YOUR
size in the store, we can order it for you. We take your measurements and according to the designer's
size chart, and order the dress size ACCORDING TO THE MEASUREMENTS TAKEN THAT DAY. Always A
bride cannot be held responsible for a sudden loss or gain in weight.

Q: If I DO loose or gain a substantial amount of weight prior to my event, what happens?

A: Anytime you order a dress, we highly recommend that you try as much as possible to stay within your
current size. If a large fluctuation in weight DOES occur (and PREGNANCY is included in this scenario)
Always a Bride is NOT responsible. We can, in extenuating circumstances, work with you to get a
different size ordered in, or give you store credit for a different dress. We will work with you as much as
possible, but we are limited by what is available from the designers, and the amount of time we have to
work with the situation.

IN-STORE EXPERIENCE

Q. Can I come in at any time during business hours to try on gowns?

A: If you are trying on evening gowns, or bridesmaid’s gowns you are more than welcome at anytime to
come in during business hours!
For BRIDES, however, we HIGHLY recommend you either call, or come in to make an APPOINTMENT for
trying on wedding gowns. That way, we can make sure we have enough staff on hand to be able to give
you our undivided attention, as well as manage the store. We truly want that day to be an amazing
experience for you, and will assist in any way we can! Often we can make your appointment before or
after hours as well if normal business hours do not fit in your schedule.  We do realize, however, that if
visiting from out of town, or on a time constraint, appointments are not always possible.  In those cases,
depending on different factors, SOMETIMES we are able to help you try on wedding gowns. Feel free to
come in, call us, or contact us via web for more information!

Q: When trying on dresses, what should I expect?

A: Always-A-Bride prides itself on the superior customer service we provide. You will ALWAYS have an
associate aiding you with whatever your needs are, continuously checking back with you, and setting up
a dressing room for you if needed. In addition, we will stand by the dressing rooms for you, so if any
assistance is needed (a zipper, a corset back tied, or a simple opinion) we are right there for you. Always
a Bride associates will also find varieties of garments if required and will hang up all the previously tried
on garments, so you will never have to deal with the pesky hangers, straps, zippers - or even worrying
about if the garment is on the hanger properly! We will take care of everything for you…all YOU have to do
is just relish in being treated like a princess!

Q: As a BRIDE, when I come in for my appointment, what should I remember?

A: First, you want to make sure you are not wearing any makeup, smelly lotions, or tanning lotions. This
is to protect the garment, and also to protect future brides from any possible allergies.
Second, though we know EVERYONE wants to partake in helping you find your dress, we recommend for
the FIRST appointment, you bring no more than two or three people with you. Simply because you don’t
want too many people giving too many different opinions! It makes it confusing for you, and also takes the
spotlight away from you. You CAN make another appointment after choosing your top three dresses, and
bring more people to help you decide just from those THREE.
Third, and MOST IMPORTANT!!
DO NOT BRING CHILDREN TO YOUR BRIDAL APPOINTMENT.  Don’t get us wrong, we love children!
You WANT to get a babysitter for those two and a half hours. It really is worth it.

Q: Am I allowed to take pictures?

A: Unfortunately, NO.

No customer is allowed to take pictures of the dresses in the store. We signed a contract with our
designers and manufacturers promising that outside photography would be prohibited due to copyright &
laws and false duplication.  WE can, however, take a picture of you in the dress and show you
immediately, so you see how the dress photographs.
In addition, once a down payment is made on the dress, those pictures WE took are sent to you via email
upon request, to do with as you choose.
I promise. When you find THE ONE – you will remember just how beautiful you looked IN it!!!
